Join your fellow road safety advocates on Thursday, May 21 at 5:00pm in Society Hill for our Spring Friend/Fund Raiser.
In 2025, Philadelphia lost over 100 people in preventable crashes, a rate of road violence that is 3x as high as NYC’s. Other states have done more to legalize life-saving technologies (e.g., speed cameras, hit-and-run alert systems, local radar) and road designs (e.g., parking protected bike lanes) that save lives.
We must push Harrisburg to make these lifesaving techniques legal in Pennsylvania.
Come out on May 21 to reconnect with old friends, meet folks who are joining our movement, and learn more about PA SAFE ROADS PAC and our legislative agenda. We’ll discuss our legislative successes , including speed cameras on Roosevelt Boulevard made permanent in 2023, along with five new roads for automated speed enforcement starting with Broad Street in 2025 and a speed camera pilot program around school zones. We’ll also discuss our efforts to legalize parking protected bike lanes, create an alert system for hit-and-runs, and Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA).
Refreshments and snacks will be provided. Anything you are willing to donate, whether before or during the event, is appreciated. If you are unable to give, please attend and learn more about us!
Register and/or donate for the event below. Once you RSVP, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the address and details.
